Placement Cell

The Institute has a career guidance and placement cell for students which function to provide guidance and information on various avenues for higher studies as well as employment options. The Industrial houses are also benefitted by the campus intervies which enable them to select suitable candidates. Guidance is also given to the students preparing for written tests and intervies for admission to institutions like BARC. The staff members provide academic and personal counseling to the studetns as and when needed. Pharmaceutical industries, Chemical industries and the organizations working in the area of environmental protection are the major sectors of interest to students as is evident from the requests forwarded to the cell. The requirement received from the job sector is circulated and displayed for the information of students. The placement cell at the Institute, in general co-ordinates the activities related to the job opportunities by conducting campus intervies and lecturers or brain storming sessions on career guidance.
